Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
Coming into college, I expected myself to be able to make many new connections but found it pretty hard to step outside of my comfort zones. Kappa Phi Lambda brought me the growth I needed to be able to open up and a sisterhood that loves and supports me unconditionally. I am so thankful to have sisters by my side as I continue my college journey and beyond.

About Me:
Hello everyone!! My name is Christina and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL so being accepted to UF was a dream come true. Ever since coming to UF and studying Information Systems, I have been a firm believer in developing my professional career. I love working with technology and interacting with people to find solutions. I have been lucky to be able to intern as an IT Intern at a manufacturing company and as a Business Analyst Intern at a federal agency. My GALLUP StrengthQuest Themes are Deliberative, Relator, Restorative, Individualization, and Analytical. Outside of my involvement in academics and organizations at UF, I am a competitive weightlifter. This sport is one of my biggest passions since it has helped me become physically and mentally stronger as a person. When I’m not at the gym, I love wearing makeup and dressing up in cute outfits!! Looking good makes me feel great. Some things people don't know is that I enjoy trying new things, checking things off my bucket list with the people I love, and meeting new people.
Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
While entering college, I wanted to find a home where I could feel loved and supported. After attending the potluck event in the Fall of 2019, I knew this sorority was where I wanted to be. I have made so many great relationships with all the sisters I have met and I feel that this was one of the best decisions I have made coming into college. The experiences I have made through Kappa Phi Lambda has helped me improve my professionalism, networking, and so much more ♡

Secretary (2020-2021)
Program Educator (Spring 2021)
About Me:
Hi! I'm Sabrina, born and raised in Parkland, Florida. During my undergraduate years, I spent most of my time with the Chinese American Student Association dancing, teaching, and mentoring other students. My hyper-fixations switch off weekly, and range from different art styles/mediums to certain Netflix crime shows. I can spend hours on a Youtube dive into dance sets/concept videos and am always on the lookout for new music!
I'm currently taking a gap year before starting graduate school, and am making the most of my time traveling and trying new foods. After graduate school, I'm looking to work in the biotech field or with regenerative medicine. :)
Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
When I started at UF, I never thought I would join a sorority, but after learning more about what we really stand for, I knew it was something that would last. The girls showed me what it's like to be a part of something bigger than yourself. The sisterhood helped me create bonds that I know will last a lifetime and these experiences have shaped me to be who I am today.

About Me:
Hi there, I’m Hannah! I'm a rare Gainesville native and I'm an easy-going, chill kind of person. During undergrad, I was pretty involved in organizations in the Asian American Student Union, specifically the Filipino Student Association (FSA) and Asian Kaleidoscope Month (AKM). I have a genuine passion for community service, and I'm working towards a career in medicine. In my free time, I like to watch Korean dramas, play piano and guitar, play sports, and spend quality time with friends. I also love to travel and go on spontaneous adventures! I have a big sweet tooth and I'm always down for food/boba so hmu!
Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
As I thought about my time in college, I realized I wanted to branch out and form deeper connections with others. Through my FSA Ate Nicole Hao *Sundial*, I found that KPL was a confident, compassionate, and diverse group of women that I aspired to be apart of. The close knit bonds between sisters and their passion for empowering one other instantly drew me in. Kappas has given me an unconditional support system that I'm eternally grateful for, and I know I'll continue to flourish with sisters by my side.

About Me:
8 years ago, I decide to leave my homeland and continue my education in the U.S. Now, I am a third year majoring in computer science in UF. It was hard to adapt to the new environment where people speak a complete different language but I fell in love with the country almost immediately and decided to stay till today. I love doing photography, graphic design, going to the museums and listen to music and nap during a rainy day!
Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
I knew about Kappa Phi Lambda way before I got into college because of my sister. Back then, I did not understand what does joining a sorority or sisterhood truly means, but I did know that it's something that I would love to have. When I rushed, I felt the connection between me and some of the sisters which helped me made my mind to join. All the love and support that everyone has for me is so precious and unbelievable the entire time. In fact, lots of the feeling can't be described by words but it's like I become a member of a family.

About Me:
I plan to apply to law school after undergrad and study corporate law in New York City. In my free time I like to shop, watch movies, and spend time with my friends. Currently, I am obsessed with learning how to create desserts and cooking in general. My favorite color is lavender and a fun fact about me is that I am a Pisces and I fit all of my zodiac stereotypes in that I am extremely emotional, introspective, and put my all into the people around me.
Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
I decided to rush Kappas because I wanted to join a sisterhood that would make me feel at home. As a freshman in my first semester of college, I felt very lost in such a large school and struggled with making friends because I felt that I had little in common with the people in my classes. As I spent more time with sisters, I slowly fell into a community that was filled with laughter, support, and most importantly, incomparable genuine love for one another.

One of my life goals is to make enough money to adopt shelter animals and give them good lives.
Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
I was looking for a community on campus that would give me the strength and support I needed to accomplish goals I felt were out of my limit. About Me:
I'm Lisa! I like long walks on the beach, holding hands, watching the sunset- wait... Wrong profile! At UF I've been involved in engineering design teams and professional organizations. As a mechanical engineering major who loves the Earth I plan to use my degree within a sustainable company. Until then, I've made changes in my life to benefit the environment like significantly reducing my meat intake (I'm now a "flexitarian"), trying to stay away from single-use plastics, and switching to more eco-friendly skincare and makeup products. In my free time I like to be in or near the water (I love to swim), travel, spend time with friends and family, and watch sci-fis and rom-coms!
Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
I was looking for my home away from home and also for a way for me to become more in touch with my asian culture. I clicked with the sisters and now I'm part of this eternal sisterhood and have such a strong support system.
