About Me:
Hello hello! My name is Ying and I am a small happy bean that loves meeting and greeting new people. I love spending quality time with my friends and family and helping everyone with keeping their pretty smiles on. I am an engineering student so I really enjoy studying and solving math and science problems. You can probably find me at the libraries sitting next to a pretty window view doing some complicated homework!
Why KPL?
Why? Because why not? I adored how sisters interact and treat each other with respect and dignity. I adored how this is a welcoming community that allows me to discover and learn more about the Pan-Asian culture while acknowledging my own identity. After all, who doesn’t want to be surrounded by beautiful, confident, and passionate ladies? Also shoutout to Esther who introduced me to this wonderful community!!!
Testimonial:
To me, Kappa Phi Lambda is the lighthouse that promised me safe guidance to the coast during the numerous fierce storms I had faced in my college journey. Sisterhood came just when I needed it the most.

About Me:
Hi I'm Angel. I grew up in Naples on a farm with goats and lots of longan and lychee. I am the youngest daughter and have two older sisters, Sarah and Lisa. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, and relaxing. My favorite tv shows include the 100 and anything on the Bachelor Franchise. I love and study history because anything and everything has a history that shapes what is the present. In the future, I hope to travel to Japan once again!
Why KPL?
I chose Kappas because I was seeking connection and a supportive community. I first found out about Kappas through my older sister, Sarah Tseng *Aventurine* SP15. She encouraged me to diversify my experiences with Kappas. When I came to UF and met sisters, I felt very comfortable and empowered. My sisters are always there for me whether I need a ride, a pep talk, or professional help. Kappas has truly given me a sisterhood that has transformed my college experience.

About Me:
Hello! My name is Livia and I am a creative passionate about living a life filled with things I love, including my cat, family, friends, and sxsters. I enjoy music, anime, games, food and doing fun art activities! Some day, I aspire to be an Art/Creative Director, working behind the scenes on projects like music videos or short films or to be a professional Graphic Designer working in branding and typography. Throughout my college experience, I was involved in several organizations on campus including CASA (Chinese American Student Association), AASU (Asian American Student Union), AKM (Asian Kaleidoscope Month), DAMN (Digital Arts Media Network), and of course Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.!
Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
In 2020-2021, after a period of social inactivity from UF organizations and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself desiring a community where I felt I belonged the most. The sxsters who had made up Kappa Phi Lambda were a big deciding factor in helping me gain more interest in the values and mission of the sorority. I was also previously introduced to the sorority through my sister, Emily Chen *abelha* who became a Kappa at Cornell University. As a sxster, I have found what I desired: a connection through sxsterhood, opportunities to give back to the community, and support through my academic career and even after. What I love most is that sxsters truly help me embrace my identities while accepting me for who I am.
