About Me: On a surface level— I love travel, food, journaling, and being a font snob. One of my short term goals is to road trip across America and take loads of dramatic pictures along the way! Two things I'm passionate about would have to be social justice and self expression. This past year, I had the opportunity to serve as editor- in- chief of an art anthology for the APIDA community; it has definitely been one of the most rewarding things that I have worked on. Three words that would describe me would be: observant, eclectic, and sarcastic.

Why Kappa Phi Lambda? I wanted to surround myself with women that will empower each other. I wanted a support system that will last through time and and distance.

About Me: I'm a Filipino American from Orlando. I work at a research lab where I slice brains for fun (and money). I like volunteering in places that foster connection like with Youth In Government, the Alachua County Crisis Center, and Footprints Buddy & Support Program. I love making new friends so let's hang out, play volleyball, or make some bujo spreads together!

Why Kappa Phi Lambda? KPL is home. A sisterhood that supports me to the moon and back and empowers me to be the best leader, student, and human that I can be.

About Me: Hey, welcome to my page! You can probably find me day to day chilling and hanging (probably eating) with my closest friends, but in my free time, I love looking for the next thing life has to offer me. I LOVE exploring nature and hiking; my dream is to live on the west coast where there are mountains everywhere and beautiful sunsets. I'm always down to have fun so hit me up if you ever wanna go hiking, kayaking, or exploring!

Why Kappa Phi Lambda? I joined KPL because I wanted a support system of sisters who built each other up, rather than tear each other down. The Become StrongHer conference was also one of the greatest influences for why I wanted to join Kappa because I wanted to be a part of an organization that was making a change in our community through social advocacy.

About Me: Hi! I'm Vivian, an aspiring dentist from Clearwater, FL. I love to travel, bake, shop, cook, and do arts and crafts. I was the 2016-2017 Social Coordinator for the Health Educated Asian Leaders. Some fun facts about me are that I am allergic to dogs, but they're my favorite animal, I have a green thumb, and I can't swim, but love water activities.

Why Kappa Phi Lambda? From my very first recruitment event, I knew Kappa Phi Lambda was something special. The friendships, opportunities, and experiences I have acquired since becoming a Sister have been overwhelming in the best possible way. Kappa fulfills everything that I was missing from my life.

About Me: I hope to be a Physician Assistant in the Psychiatry field someday in the future. I currently work at Sushi Matsuri so you can catch me there serving sushi! My hobbies include dancing, working out, raving, shopping, hanging out with family and friends, eating, traveling, cooking, and binge watching shows and movies. My current obsessions are buying false lashes in bulk, buying a new outfit for every event, collecting anything cute (which is usually plushies), etc. Some fun facts about me is that I'm INFJ, left-handed, and loves rocking out to hard trap and dubstep.

Why Kappa Phi Lambda? I felt like my involvement in other organizations didn't give me the satisfaction I needed to feel like I've left an impact on my community so I decided to rush Kappa Phi Lambda. Joining KPL gave me the perfect output for professional and personal growth. KPL has helped me push past my comfort zone and into the strong, independent woman I am today. I've been blessed with an amazing support system that I know will last beyond my college years.

About Me: I'm Sabrina, I'm left-handed, a Gemini, and proud chinchilla mom. My GALLUP StrengthsQuest Themes are Input, Maximizer, Arranger, Communication, and Strategic. At UF, I was involved with Student Government Class Councils, Florida Greek Ambassadors, and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service. I was previously involved with Florida Leadership Academy, Reitz Union Board, and the Student Honors Organization. I've interned with the US Department of State in the Bureau of Information Resource Management and I’ve worked in Miami Beach for Summer 2019 at a Hospitality Management firm. I enjoy listening to rap/hip-hop, reggaeton, 80s classics, and the occasional Bossa Nova song when cooking. I’m currently working at Citibank in a Rotational Leadership Program in their Enterprise Operations & Technology. When I am not working, I am traveling, trying new restaurants, playing the flute/ukulele, reading, and going out in Miami.

Why Kappa Phi Lambda? Although I joined other organizations on campus, the connections that I made in Kappa Phi Lambda are the ones that I cherish the most. This sorority has given me a space to grow and continue to understand who I am-- as well as a place to be vulnerable. Here is where I feel I have found my family and I am truly grateful to be surrounded by such inspiring women.
